COMBAT SYSTEM

One VS. One

When fighting, unless anything else is agreed, both combatants will start by rolling a d100 (remember, rolls can only be viewed in group chat, so the combatants need to be in the same group). The one with the higher roll wins the initiative and can begin by attacking, the one who lose the initiative will be defending.

When attacking the attacker will emote what they wish to do,
e.g. "tries to slash the defender with a lightsabre",
then rolls several dice determined by their rank, the defender will then roll their dice to resist the attack. If the attack is successful, the defender takes one damage to their HP and the defender emotes taking damage,
e.g. "gets slashed by the lightsabre".
If the attack is unsuccessful, the defender emotes the successful defense,
e.g. "the defender dodges the slash from the lightsabre".
Following the successful attack or defense the attacker and defender switches, so the attacker becomes the defender and vice versa.

NOTE: On equal rolls the defender always wins.

Solo VS. Multiple

When fighting against many, again unless anything else is agreed, all combatants will start by rolling a d100
(remember, rolls can only be viewed in group chat, so the combatants need to be in the same group).
The ones with the higher roll win the initiative and can begin by attacking, if the solo combatant wins no special rules apply in the first attack turn except that only one target can be attacked, if more than one is above the solo combatant only the ones who rolls above the solo combatant can attack in the first turn, after the solo combatant has then had their attack turn every one of the multiple combatants can attack together. The ones who lose the initiative will be defending, only someone being attacked can defend.

When attacking the attacker will emote what they wish to do,
e.g. "tries to slash the defender with a lightsabre",
then rolls several dice determined by their rank, the defender will then roll their dice to resist the attack, if the multiple combatants are attacking any attack roll above the defenders roll is a successful attack, the solo combatant only rolls once to defend. If the attack is successful, the defender takes one damage to their HP and the defender emotes taking damage,
e.g. "gets slashed by the lightsabre".
If the attack is unsuccessful, the defender emotes the successful defence, e.g. "the defender dodges the slash from the lightsabre".
In cases of both successful attacks and defences on the solo combatant will emote both the attacks that are successful and the successful defences. Following the successful attack or defence the attacker and defender switches, so the attacker becomes the defender and vice versa.

In case of the multiple attackers the attack emotes will follow the initial initiative order, highest to lowest.

On equal rolls the defender always wins.

Multiple Actions:

It is possible to preform multiple actions, each additional action adds a penalty of 10/5 to the attack roll.

Meaning if someone wish to make three attacks during a combat round, they would subtract 20/10 from their roll, as the first attack is free, then they would roll the new attack roll total for all three attacks.

Champion wish to hit Force User 2 times. Champion's attack roll is 50-125, by making a multiple action Champion then subtracts 10/5 from their attack roll and gets the attack roll 40-120, which they then roll twice, once for each attack.

Force User then rolls defence as normal, using the One vs. Multiple attack rules.

It is only possible to preform one force attack per combat round, however with training multiple force attacks may be possible. Force powers can still be used both for attacks and defence during a combat round.

Critical Rolls:

All attacks deal 1 damage unless otherwise specified.

Sometimes in combat an action is made that is deemed to be a Critical Roll.
Attack roll of 101-135: +1 damage to the normal damage.
Attack roll of 136-145: +2 damage to the normal damage.
*You can always choose to give less or nonlethal damage.
