progression is incredibly important to the TDD as a concept, for
that reason we have made different progression
for individual groups like Sith, Imperials and droids, but nothing is handed out and one needs to be an active
part of this to advance.
Progression is divided into two; rank and power (training grade)
The tiers of progression are weaved in between our story-lines, some complex others less so. Our aim is to allow every piece of story content to offer an aspect of individual unique progression.
Each step of the progression has between 1-3 areas of teaching one needs to go through to move on to the next rank.
By attending lessons, missions and events one earns stars to show ones rise in power, here called training grade.
Next Training grade X 5 stars to reach next grade:
E.g. to reach grade II from grade I you need 10 stars total, to reach grade III from grade II you need another 15 stars, so a total of 25 stars.
To reach the final training grade you need a total of 210 stars collected throughout various roleplay sessions.
One exception to the Training grade progressions are droids, no matter how many stars a droid collect they will not advance in dice/hp. The only way for a droid to advance is through personal events with others to collect their various parts needed to upgrade the droid.Promotions happens individually and from varied feats within each progression, usually the member needs to overcome some obstacle to show their worthiness to claim or earn the new rank. While a Sith might need to study and prove their strength a Mandalorian might just need the support of the rest of the members of their clan.

While a Sith might need to study and prove their strength a Mandalorian might just need the support of the rest of the members of their clan.
An exception to the rank progressions is the independent progression, who claims their profession as their rank and title, something that can shift from day to day. Another exception is droids which does not hold any rank but their model and series.
When you lose your rank, you lose access to the equipment attained by that rank. One exception to this is force user powers obtained at a certain rank, you will not unlearn the powers you have learned and can continue to use the powers you have learned, you do not however get more force power points if you attain the rank again.
You cannot lose your dice from training grades from being demoted, just like you do not attain more dice from being promoted. One exception to this is the rank of Darth which attains a dice and hp increase due to the fear and confidence following that rank. Those dice and hp will be stripped with the rank if a Darth are demoted.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You are not authorized to change your progression without approval from the Officer Team.
