Imperial & Independents ranks
This category contains many titles of varying ranks, usually this is a self-governing group, with their own hierarchy, and answering to the Council but only if, this does not go against orders already given from the councilor of military command who is head of Imperial personal. However Sith are above Imperials in the Sith hierarchy and therefore should be treated with respect at all times.
The Imperial Military is the backbone of the Order as well as the Empire itself, as Imperial culture and society has been highly militarized since the Empire's early years on Dromund Kaas. Every non-Force-sensitive in the Order is automatically conscripted into the military and they remain in service until retirement or disability. While advancement and promotion help skilled military officers establish powerful families with histories of military service, the more independent contractors like mercenaries and bounty hunters are valuable because of their ties to the underworld both in terms of resources as well as information.
Last of the independents are the Mandalorians.
The Mandalorians were a nomadic group of clan-based people consisting of members from multiple species and both genders, all bound by a common culture. The Mandalorian culture revolved around battle, with war being a source of honor and pride in their community. Throughout their history, the Mandalorians were frequently allied with the Sith and held a certain distrust and general dislike for the Jedi Order. However, they would not hesitate to cooperate with the Jedi if a partnership between the two groups was mutually beneficial. In later years, the Mandalorians moved away from their obsessively war-like and conqueror ways and instead, most became bounty hunters and mercenaries, selling their skills to various individuals and factions in the galaxy.

Sometimes a high-ranking commander may be aligned with a noble house as well but will still answer to the sphere of military command and at other times a group may be assigned to another sphere to preform duties within that sphere.
This group is a very secretive group, sometimes members are only known by the councilor of galactic influence and a few select individuals. This means is it possible to be a part of the intelligence network and be embedded in one or more other operations at the same time. This secrecy is important as usually once an intelligence agent have been made known it is hard to use the agent in an investigation or undercover operation again.
Sith Ranks & Hierarchy
From the earliest era of its foundation, the Sith Order has been formed into a monarchy-like structure with the lower tier of Sith being regarded as the weakest, least important members, often little more than pawns, whereas those highest within the Order's echelon retain majestic status, taking roles not dissimilar to kings, warlords, or emperors. Either through prominence, recognition, or the seizing of power through their own merit, Sith move up in the hierarchy as they become more experienced, attain greater strength, or otherwise prove themselves worthy.
1. Sith Acolyte (Tier 1-3)
2. Sith Apprentice (1st apprentice)
3. Sith Adept
4. Sith Specialist
5. Sith Master
6. Sith Lord
8. Council - RP rank
Sith Acolytes, also called Sith Initiates or, if they are youthful, Sith Hopefuls, are the raw recruits that enter into the Sith Order for training in the ways of the Dark Side. While most possess no practical applicant knowledge of the Force and require the training of a Sith Specialist, or if they show unique promise, a Sith Lord, to teach them the aspects of the Dark Side of the Force and truly become a member of the Sith Order.
Unlike the Jedi Order, the rank of Sith Acolyte does not change whether the Acolyte has an appointed master or not. Despite the namesake, Sith Acolytes are not considered to be Sith, per other Sith viewing them as lowly Dark Jedi. Thus, a Sith Acolyte must complete their training fully to attain the next rank and become a "true" Sith.
This period before becoming a true Sith is marked by much hazing and often death. The Acolytes need to go through 3 trials to become eligible to become someone's apprentice or to continue their rise to power alone.
Apprentices become such when a more powerful Sith takes them under their wing and through direct contact with them they learn new skills, train and better themselves. They are the stage between Acolyte and "true" Sith.
If a master has more than one apprentice the strongest will hold the title of 1st Apprentice.
Sith Adept or simply Sith make up the bulk of the Sith Order's forces and represent the iron fist of Sith Empire in military affairs and enforcement of imperial law. The few Acolytes that were able to master their training and progress to the degree that their masters deem them worthy now rightfully bear the mantle of "Sith." As the primary enforcers of their Councils will, the Sith Adepts are found in all reaches of the galaxy, as they take on most of missions for the Order.
As weapons of the Dark Side for multiple purposes, Sith Adepts have three primary specializations and are overall referred to as Specialist.
The Adept hone in on their specialization, which is why there is a common term of Specialist for when the Adept takes on a specialization.
The first is known as the Sith Champion, which are the most infamous of all Sith on the battlefield, elite swordsmen that specialize in lightsaber and physical combat.
The second are the Sith Sorcerers, the most sinister and malignant of the Sith Order, who specialize in advanced Sith magics and Sith alchemy.
The third are the Sith Scholars how posses all the ancient and hidden knowledges of the Sith from origin of dark texts to forgotten alchemy or schematics.
- Sith Champion
The Sith Champions are the emblem of the Sith Order, representing what every sentient in the galaxy fears most about the Sith. Identified by their omnipresent lightsaber on their person at all times, the Sith Champions are the most brutal crushing force the Sith Order is capable of producing. Combative, aggressive even by Sith standards, and conditioned to execute any order given to them by the Council, Sith Champions are what most sentient imagine when they think of Sith.
- Sith Sorcerer
Sith Sorcerers are the among the most sinister and conniving members of the Sith Order. Manipulation is their greatest weapon, and it is wielded by them as proficiently as they themselves wield the Dark Side of the Force. Deadly forces of spellcasters and magicians, the Sith Sorcerers are feared even by other Sith, and regarded as the most potent users of the Dark Side in the Sith Order, able to manipulate the Dark Side of the Force and bend it to their wills like none other.
- Sith Scholars
The Sith Scholars are among the most knowledgeable and their understanding of the world around them making them a danger to everyone. They are individuals who studies history and historical sites in an attempt to form a better understanding of the past. Unraveling ancient mysteries and finding dark knowledge, hidden away in long forgotten tombs. But they also hold the key to many secrets in regards to life and death, science being just as big a pool of knowledge to them as alchemy. Many dread to wind up in their clutches for the tales of the experiments in their labs are stuff of nightmares as well as revelations. Holding the building blocks of life and death as well as the plans for every secret, every weakness and every thing built.
The Sith Masters are the elite of the Order, and represent the few that have come to a true understanding of the Dark Side of the Force, and bending it to their will. Dreaded as they are renowned, Sith Masters could be the most deadly of warriors and the most learned in Sith magics and sorcery, making them the masters of the Dark Side and the Sith Order of the highest caliber, far surpassing the ferocity and prowess of the Sith Champions.
The most exceptional of the Sith Masters may be elevated to the most coveted position of Sith Lord. It is also at the rank of Master that a Sith may challenge a Sith Lord for their title and position with a sense of validity and weight.
The Sith Lord, is one of few individuals that are among the most elite of the Order, it is these few men and women that are among the truly terrifying. To attain this rank is considered the height of glory and opens doors that would be closed to most any other, including the possibility to challenge a Darth of the Council for their title and seat. New paths to power one may not have dreamed of prior.
To be recognized as a Lord of the Sith grants one the authority to do as they please so long as it does not directly contradict what they were told by one of the Council or pre-established laws.
The Darth is the embodiment of death. The title of "Darth" is given by the Council to high-ranking Sith Lords, and reserved only for those who proved their power and their unquestioning loyalty to the Order. Many Sith Lords strive to add the title of "Darth" to their name, so much so that the word is considered synonymous with the mightiest of dark side users in some circles. It was also taken to signify giving up one's old life and devoting oneself fully to the Dark side of the Force.
The Council are the leaders of the guild; a gathering of the most powerful and skilled Sith within the Order, which power and responsibility reign supreme within the Order.
Chosen from within the ranks of the Sith Lords, either by rite of combat or by the Council based on their unparalleled skill, they are the true elite of the Sith Order. Bearing the title of Darth, they are given near complete dominion over different facets of the Order, answering only to the Council's will.
To gain a seat on the council a Darth must be elected by the rest of the council by majority vote, in a case of a draw the prospect will be given a chance to speak for him or herself. If no Darth is available for election the council can chose a Lord instead and then elevate the Lord to the position of Darth. This does not however mean that their position is secure; any who attain the rank of Sith Lord may challenge a Darth for their seat; the old falling and the new rising has always been the way of the Sith, and a Darth who cannot defend his seat from a challenger is unworthy of it in the first place.
